​Heath and safety policy statement

Our statement of general policy is:

To maintain a Health and Safety Management System that:

❑ provides adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our workactivities;

❑ provides consultation with our employees and site visitors on matters affecting theirhealth and safety;

❑ provides and maintains safe plant and equipment;

❑ provides safe handling and use of substances in accordance with COSHHregulations;

❑ provides information, instruction and supervision for employees;

❑ ensures all employees are competent to undertake their tasks, and where required togive them adequate training;

❑ prevents accidents and cases of work related ill-health;

❑ enables the company to maintain safe and healthy working conditions;

❑ enables compliance audits in accordance with an agreed timetable to ensureprocedures are effective and supported;

❑ enables the review and revision of this policy as necessary at regular intervals basedon an annual review of the Health and Safety Management System;

❑ ensures compliance with any external certification body requirements;

❑ enables the maintaining of adequate training records, demonstrating compliance withany legislative requirements and to ensure such are maintained up to date
